2024 Collection Style Spotlight: The Wide Brim

Wallaroo Hat Company is celebrating our 25th Anniversary this year, and we’ve launched our most expansive line ever. In honor of National Hat Day, we are kicking off our new Style Spotlight Series that will take a closer look at the different kinds of hat styles found in the Wallaroo 2024 Collection.

First up, The Wide Brim.

The Sloan

Great for cooler temperatures, The Sloan is a sophisticated take on the traditional fedora. Adorned with a classic bow, this brushed wool felt style offers chic UPF50+ sun protection and is available in three colorways: black, olive and a feminine, blush taupe shade.

The Carkella Kerrigan

An elegant style statement from our sister brand, Carkella Hats, The Kerrigan has a sweeping 4 ½” brim with a classic grosgrain ribbon trim. Paired with a flowing dress or a casual sweater, The Kerrigan is a chic head-turning style with a posh, elevated vibe. UPF 50+ fabric adds maximum sun protection.

The Artisan Collection

Wallaroo’s Artisan Collection features two wide brimmed hats.  This sustainable collection is meticulously hand-crafted in an Artisan Co-Op outside of Guadalajara, Mexico. These straw hats are woven from all-natural palm fiber, using techniques passed down for generations. 

The Baja is a unisex style, available in two sizes, with an adjustable chin strap to hold the hat in place on windy days.

The Tulum is an exquisite, finely woven rancher fedora, adorned with a tan leather hat band. These Artisan Collection wide brim styles are both rated UPF50+.
